“One Piece” fans of all ages had the time of their lives as they came together for a fun celebration of fitness and fandom during the first “One Piece” run in the Philippines held at SM City Fairview。

Over 8,000 runners showed up, turning the area around SM City Fairview into the Grand Line as they made memories and history together while honoring their favorite manga。

Other runners even went all out in showing their love for “One Piece” by donning costumes inspired by their favorite characters. Some fans even decked themselves out in full “One Piece” cosplay, turning the event into a colorful and lively gathering.

After conquering their chosen distances, participants proudly received One Piece-inspired medals, symbolizing their perseverance and spirit。

The immersive experience did not stop there. Fans snapped photos with life-sized figures of the beloved Straw Hat Pirates, posed next to Luffy, and connected with fellow nakamas from across the Philippines。

Meanwhile, top three finishers from the running categories were also given special awards with John Christian Balonso emerging as the overall top ranked runner of the race。
“This is a milestone for all of us at SM Supermalls, which is why we want to give a massive thank you to Toei Animation and Runrio for choosing SM City Fairview as the official venue for this landmark event. We are honored to be part of such a historic moment for the anime and running community,” Ma-ann Hipol, OIC marketing area head of SM Supermalls said.
“We’re delighted to be part of this experience and we’re happy to see the reception that we got from the participants who really enjoyed this run,” said RUNRIO founder and CEO Rio dela Cruz who organized the event。

The first-ever “One Piece” Run in the Philippines was made possible through the collaboration of SM City Fairview, Toei Animation, Runrio, and the Quezon City Local Government Unit (LGU) — a perfect alliance in line with SM’s vision to make its malls a vibrant lifestyle destination where people come together to explore, celebrate, and create unforgettable memories。
