Shanghai Takes the Lead in Building the Yangtze River Delta into A Global Science and Tech Innovation Hub

　　The city of Shanghai ranked first last year in the sci-tech innovation index among all Chinese cities, according to a report by a think tank under the country’s Science and Technology Ministry. It now takes the lead in the region in advancing toward becoming an international scientific and technological innovation centre.
